My Story

Hello, and Welcome!

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably curious about who I am and how this all began.

I’ve spent over four decades exploring the world—growing up in Kuwait, training in India, and building my life and family in New Zealand. Across three countries and countless experiences, one thing has remained constant: my deep fascination with the human brain and body, and how we can harness it to live fuller, richer, more aligned lives.

As a medical doctor, I’ve seen the human body inside and out. But it was the countless stories, struggles, and patterns I observed in my patients and loved ones that led me to ask deeper questions—not just how we function, but why we feel stuck, disconnected, or “hardwired” for pain.

I’ve faced my fair share of adversity—but none of it was wasted. It all became fuel for this lifelong journey into understanding what truly makes us whole.

There are no quick fixes in life - But there IS a way through!

My curiosity never settled. After years in general medicine, I began to notice a crucial gap in healthcare: we often treat the body or the brain—and almost always skip the link between the two.

That sparked a journey that hasn’t stopped. From addiction counselling to child and adolescent developmental psychology, from trauma-informed neuroscience to nutritional psychiatry—I immersed myself in disciplines that could help explain not just dysfunction, but human potential.

And I tested it all. On myself. With friends and family. With people from every walk of life. Over 20+ years and across thousands of conversations, I began piecing together the patterns. What works. What heals. What actually helps us rewire.

I Know What Works (And What Doesn't).

I don’t believe in gimmicks, nor in one-size-fits-all solutions. I believe in neuroplasticity—the ability of our brains, bodies (and lives) to change. My work now focuses on building tools, resources, and frameworks to help people recode their emotional DNA and truly integrate brain and body, through MIND∞MATTER.

I’ve been fortunate to build a beautiful life in New Zealand with my husband, Luke, and our two amazing boys, Joshua and Luca. Alongside raising my family, I continue to pour my heart into creating tools that help people transform their emotional health.

I’m the author of Cracking the Happiness Code (2022), and more recently, My Emotions and Me (2025) — the first in a children’s book series designed to help young readers understand and navigate their emotions.
